Try Our New Desserts this Week! Featuring Persian Bamieh

I mean, we ARE a cafe, right? And what goes better with a little Turkish coffee than some super amazing sweets?!

We're working on next season's menu, and want your feedback. We're definitely adding some desserts, starting with this traditional Persian Bamieh.  I like to think of it as sort of a Persian churro, or a poppable bite sized donut?

It's a sugar-egg-butter-flour base with saffron puffed to golden perfection. Then we soak them in rose water simple syrup, top with crushed pistachio, and well I think just think it's heaven on a plate.
